But you’d be surprised how many bloggers miss this crucial step. They write about what they want to write about, not what people are actually searching for.
Now, don’t get me wrong. Passion is important.
But if you want to increase your blog traffic, you need to align your passion with what your audience is interested in. This is where SEO comes in.
You see, 93% of online experiences begin with a search engine, according to Forbes.
That’s a massive chunk of potential traffic you could be tapping into. But to do that, you need to understand what your audience is searching for.
So, how do you find these golden topics? Start with keyword research.
You can use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, or Ahrefs. They may help you discover what keywords your audience is using when they search for content in your niche.
But don’t stop there. Dig deeper. Look at the related searches and the ‘People also ask’ section on Google. These can give you fantastic ideas as to what blog topics people are actually interested in.

The key is to offer something so good that people can’t help but sign up.

You need to make it easy to sign up. This means having a clear, compelling call to action and an easy-to-use sign-up form. You can use Aweber or Getresponse, or another similar auto-responder service.

- This means using a responsive design that automatically adjusts to fit the screen size. If you’re using WordPress, then it’s not a big deal. Most themes nowadays are designed to be mobile-friendly.
